Learn discipline, the art of martial arts, and have a great time doing it!

For the Martial Arts Schedule, visit the Schedule Page.

Taekwondo instills discipline, etiquette, respect and self-confidence. Techniques in combat and self defense include sparring, throwing, falling, breaking and meditation.

Shiloh Schulte heads up our Taekwondo Program and has been training since 1996. Shiloh trained at the University of Vermont for several years and received his 1st Dan (black belt) and then two years later received the rank of 2nd Dan. Shiloh was an active competitor in college, competing on the Northeast college tournament circuit. Shiloh’s wife, Shevaun who assists with classes began her training in middle school when she studied Kempo Karate. She received her black belt in Kempo in 1995 and was an assistant instructor for two years. Shevaun joined Taekwondo at UVM ultimately receiving the rank of 1st Dan. While at UVM she taught classes for the club and developed and taught Taekwondo courses for the University.

Join us for one of our camps! Our days are filled with gymnastics, outdoor activities and games. Camp at gymNation is a time for campers to learn how their bodies work. Every day, campers will test their motor skills, flexibility, agility, balance and coordination. When children complete physical challenges, their minds and bodies grow stronger each day.

We have several camp programs throughout the year:

Tough & Tumble Info

tough-tumble-startOpen to 3 year olds to 13 year olds. Parents, this will be a fun but safe course for the kids. Parents are welcome to and encouraged to join your little ones along the course. We will run the race in “Waves” so we can send kids off similar age and size to keep it safe. There will be a mud pit to climb through if they would like to and a hose to clean up with but bring some towels and a change of clothes so that you can go back to the gymNation area after the Tough & Tumble. For obvious reasons we’ll need clean kids and no shoes on gymNation experience.

Parking-There is street parking (except where posted No Parking) and a few parking lots that are available. See the attached map for additional parking areas. The event is easily reached from Main Street and the Waterhouse Center area. We’ll have signs posted for you to follow.

Join us there too for a fun morning of action in Kennebunk!
